Amanda Latimer, Owner

Hi I'm Amanda. I have always loved spending time with children so after having three children, owning a nursery was the perfect job for me! It is so important to me that we can give all children and families fantastic opportunities in a warm homely environment. Seeing families thrive is what motivates me. I am a qualified Early Years Professional and have worked with children and young people since 1994. I'm a real outdoor person so in my spare time I love spending time outdoors doing activities with my family and walking my gorgeous dog Rosco.
Kat Kirkpatrick, Nursery Manager

Hello I have worked in this nursery since it opened in 2007. I have nvq levels 2,3 and 4 in childcare. I love my job and find it very rewarding. I work very closely with the children and parents. I work with a fantastic team which give the children the best start in life and provide high quality childcare. My spare time is filled up with my two young boys Daniel and Ollie and I love to spend all my spare time doing lots of fun things with them.

Hi , I have 11 years experience of working within the child care sector in early years and education, gaining my level 2 and then level 3 in 2008. I have worked with various ages from 3 months- 11 years.I have been at Mothergoose since 2009.My favourite part of my job is children's progression, through supporting development to achieve their goals. In my spare time I enjoy watching films and the occasional action boxset. I also enjoy catching up with friends.
Heather Collingwood - Senior Early Years Practitioner and Ducklings Room Supervisor

HI I'm Heather,I have a NVQ level 3 in childcare and a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. I love my job and enjoy incorporating my skills in singing and entertaining into my daily activities. My favourite time of year is Xmas and I love going on winter holidays.
Nichola Cockton - Senior Early Years Practitioner

HI I'm Nic. I gained my level 2 in child care in 1996, then worked towards my level 3 child care while working in a setting. I have 20 years child care experience 18 of which are working in a baby room. I really enjoy my job at Mother Goose and love working with babies watching them grow and learn new things daily. Out side of work I enjoy family time and long walks with my dog Charli.
Natalie Bell - Senior Early Years Practitioner

Hello, I'm Natalie, also known as Nat. I qualified in 2013 from Trinity Sixth Form with a Level 3 Diploma in childcare. Working in a nursery is all I have ever wanted to do. It is such a rewarding and enjoyable job. There is nothing better than seeing a child you care for smile, it brightens up my day! I honestly couldn't see myself doing anything else! My spare time is spent with my family and my boyfriend. I love to shop, eat out, go on holidays abroad and listen to music.
Karen Bell - Senior Early Years Practitioner

Hi my name is Karen and I have been in childcare now for 33 years. I was a nanny for over 19 years and have been at Mother Goose now since it opened in 2007. I am NNEB qualified and have a NVQ level 3 in childcare and early years. In my spare time I do lots of different crafts and love to read. I am also a member of a Ukulele group, Ukes of Allonby. We play for local groups and charities
Tracy Armstrong - Senior Early Years Practitioner and Fishes Room Supervisor

Hi I'm Tracy, I have a wide range of qualifications which include NVQ level 2 & 3 in children's care, learning and development. I have 13 years experience of working in the childcare sector. I have worked at Mother Goose for 5 years and have had the most enjoyable and rewarding time working here. I enjoy working with the staff, children and parents and I love that everyday is different. My son Leo and beautiful dog Milo keep me busy in my spare time and I enjoy every moment of it.

Hi my name is Toni. I qualified as a practitioner in 2009 and continued to further my studies at University finishing with a BA(HONS) in Early Childcare Studies. I love working with children, ensuring that they are able to develop whilst having fun.My free time is spent with my partner and two dogs.

Hi my name is Harriet and I have been working with children now for 12 years I love watching and helping them grow and learn new things whilst developing their own little personalities In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughter Lillie , shopping and going out for tea. Chloe Tordiff - Apprentice

Hi, I'm Chloe, I am an apprentice at Mother Goose Nursery, I am currently studying my Level 2 childcare then going onto study level 3 as a early years educator. I thoroughly enjoy working with children, it has been all I've wanted to do since leaving school, I enjoy it because it is rewarding being able to watch children explore and develop as they grow. Being part of children's lives from a young age is such a life long experience to be part of as a member of a caring team who make a difference to a child's life each day. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends socialising and going swimming.

Working with children has always been my life long dream! So I went to university and gained a degree in early education studies in 2007.

I've had Experience of working in primary schools, a special needs school and a private nursery. I have worked at mother goose since 2009 and love being part of such a dedicated and fun team. In 2011 I gained my early years professional status(EYPS) During my time here I have worked with all age groups and I'm currently working in pre school. I'm particularly passionate about this age group and I have a keen interest in phonics! I enjoy building positive relationships with the children whilst watching them develop and grow into their own little individual characters!

I'm a real family person and love spending time with my husband and two children Cassie and Oscar! I enjoy reading, being creative and socialising.
